Cabinet Painting

A few years ago, I co-owned a kitchen cabinet painting business with my friend.  It was a wonderful learning experience as well as a great opportunity to learn all about cabinet painting.  I had no idea what was involved and the amount of time it takes from start to finish.  Unfortunately, my life at that time took me in a different direction and I had to leave the partnership.  I am pleased to say that 2 Cabinet Girls is still thriving and I am very proud of my friend for continuing on in the business.

So What does this mean   for you?

Life is all about change and now that I am at a different stage in my life, I'm ready to pick up the roller and offer the best cabinet painting service at unbelievable prices.  That means you get the same quality, close to factory finish cabinets, at prices half the cost of larger businesses.  That's because we keep our expenses low but keeping our business small.  For us, it's about the quality, not the quantity.

Our Process...

  • We first start by coming to your home for a free estimate.  We can discuss color options and I can guide you through the steps from start to finish so you know what's happening throughout the entire process.

  • Next, we will send you an estimate and if you accept, we require a 50% deposit atleast 3 days before the start date.  It's very important that we work within your budget, so there are several options that may help keep your cost down if your struggling with the decision to go for it or wait until you hit the lottery.

  • Once we receive the deposit, its showtime.  We will come and take the hinges and doors off and all drawer fronts (unless they are glued on).

  • No need to empty the drawers, everything can stay exactly where it is.

  • The doors get shipped off to our professional sprayer and he goes to work getting these cabinets ready and sprayed.

  • Our crew will come to your home, tape off the edges, clean the outside surface of all the bases, degloss, sand and degrease.  It's alot of work, but prep is everything and will make sure you have a finish that sustains its beauty for years to come.

  • The bases get painted with 2 coats of primer and then the final paint color of your choice.

  • Within a few days, the doors and drawer fronts have dried and they are ready to be re-installed.  We will come back, put your kitchen back together and take lots of pictures and may squeeze a hug in there too.  The entire process can take up to 7 days depending on the size of your kitchen.
